The Mayor’s Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability and NYC Digital are hosting Reinvent Green, the City’s first sustainability hackathon.  At this event teams of developers will come together and create digital tools that will encourage New Yorkers to live more sustainably. Developers, engineers, and designers are all encouraged to come out and take advantage of the huge number of open-source data that they can use to make applications that will make New York City greener. Applications are due Sunday, June 17th, so head over to their site to learn more and apply today.

And did you know that Change By Us is an open source application? Find out more here and share your support for open government.
